We swear one of these days we're going to stop bringing up you know who when we're talking about Solange. And while Beyoncé is the queen of the world and all, Solange is completely winning us over one perfectly executed televised dance step at a time. Her latest, since her last swoon-worthy performance on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," came last night on "Late Show with David Letterman." Late-night talk shows are looking like must-see TV for the first time in a while now, right?

The clip, in which Solange, bandmate and producer-mastermind Dev Hynes, and company, perform the seductive "Don't Let Me Down" from her swooning True EP, is instantly likable, but there's a moment around the 22-second mark where, if there's anyone out there who hadn't already fallen for the R&B crooner, that's THE defining moment where they'd end up head over heels. Dat dance step. Oh man, are we gushing here? The song, an elegantly draped declaration of vulnerability over a a minimal slap-bass groove, finds Solange singing, "Baby, baby please don't let me down." Can't see how anyone would even consider. Even old Dave is smitten.

"Oh my God. Now listen, here's what we'll do. We'll go on tour, all right?" he says after the number. "We'll all go on tour -- like two and a half months. I'll come out, tell my jokes and stuff and then you guys come out and just kill, blow the roof off the dump. And then backstage, it'll be horseplay! What do you say?"

"I'm down," she answers. She really is.
