[UPDATE] It's over! And today's big reveal: A Star Fox-themed costume for the game. Check it out. The original story is below. Today's Bayonetta 2 Nintendo Direct briefing kicks off at 3 PM PDT / 6 PM EDT, and you can watch the entire presentation right here in this post. "New details" for the Wii U game are expected to be divulged during the broadcast, said to last around a half-hour, but that's all we know right now. Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive, unlike the 2010 original, which was released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That game's developer, Platinum Games, is also behind Bayonetta 2. The original Bayonetta is included with Bayonetta 2 physical and digital copies at no extra cost. Earlier this week, Nintendo announced Bayonetta 2's release date: October 24 Bayonetta 2 includes a number of features not found in the original, including a new snake transformation that lets Bayonetta move better in underwater passages. In addition, we learned at E3 in June that Bayonetta 2 will include mechs. For more on Bayonetta 2, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
