Houston hip-hop artist Travi$ Scott recently took the stage as a part of MTV's "Artist To Watch Live" series, and we kiiiiiiind of feel like it's gonna go down as one of those shows that make people say, "I saw him when he wasn't selling out Madison Square Garden." Because you know it's only gonna be eight or so months till he's opening for Jay Z and selling out MSG or Barclays Center. And why do we mention Jay Z? Oh, only because in addition to releasing his own debut EP, Owl Pharaoh, Travi$ has also landed production credits on two of the biggest albums of the year -- Kanye West's Yeezus and Jay Z's Magna Carta... Holy Grail.

That said, we highly recommend that you pay close attention to Travi$' ferocious "Artist To Watch Live" performance at New York's Bowery Ballroom, where he churned out flawless live renditions of songs such as "Sin City," "Quintana," "Upper Echelon," and our personal favorite, "Blocka La Flame."
