Maybe we're just too used to seeing Ke$ha run around in leather bathing suits, because seeing her show up to the 2012 American Music Awards looking FRESH TAH DEATH in couture basically caused our eyes to bug out of their sockets with WOW. There just aren't enough VA-VA VOOMS on the planet for Ke$ha looking this GORG! Between this look and her forthcoming acoustic Deconstructed EP, we're LOVING Ke$ha's new, stripped-down side. Also, let's give her a round of applause for leaving the bedazzlers, glitter, and glow-in-the-dark paint at the craft store this time around -- JK! (Kinda.)

The Warrior singer not only slayed her glammed-out/grown-up look on the red carpet, but she also killed her "Die Young" performance at the 40th annual award show. But don't worry, Ke$ha returned to her regularly scheduled style programming on stage when she danced around in a gold-encrusted leotard and rocked out/pounded on tribal drums alongside skeleton-faced dancers and Illuminati-friendly pentagram images like NBD. Now, THAT'S the beard-chomping girl we're intimidated by used to!
