Throughout July, fans can continue to stream two all-new episodes weekly of critically acclaimed DC UNIVERSE originals in 4K. On Mondays, be sure to catch Brec Bassinger as DC’s Stargirl, the teenage superhero of Blue Valley High; and on Thursdays, dive into more twisted and head-scratching missions in Doom Patrol Season Two with the world’s strangest Super Heroes.
Starting July 1, a huge slate of DC animated films starring Batman and Superman hit the service. Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and starring Matt Bomer (“Doom Patrol”), as the Man of Steel, Superman: Unbound arrives on DC UNIVERSE. Plus, more action-packed animated adventures will arrive that same day including Batman vs. Robin, starring Stuart Allen (Son of Batman), All-Star Superman, starring James Denton (“Desperate Housewives”), and Batman Beyond: The Return of the Joker, starring Mark Hamill as The Joker and Kevin Conroy (“Batman: The Animated Series”) as The Dark Knight.
Plus, DC UNIVERSE is adding tons of thrilling comics to its digital platform including Gerard Way’s DOOM PATROL: WEIGHT OF THE WORLDS #1, illustrated by acclaimed cartoonist James Harvey, and Brian Michael Bendis’ BATMAN: UNIVERSE #1. Other additions include critically acclaimed comic books such as Greg Rucka’s LOIS LANE (2019) #1 on July 7 and Matt Fraction’s utterly delightful SUPERMAN’S PAL JIMMY OLSEN #1 on July 21.
