Guardians Of the Galaxy: Volume 3 released to US theaters yesterday, so I thought it was time to review some GotG Funko Pops!

For the longest time, I only had Groot, Rocket and Star-Lord.  A toy vendor show netted me Drax late last year.  This was not the version of Drax I intended to get, but for 5$, I could not resist.  I had planned I would wait for GotG 3 and get the new one offered then.  As for Gamora, I could not wait and picked up one  of the What If versions that was offered.  That gets us to here:

The new movie offerings did not disappoint.  Friday I was out for errands and came back with 2 more.  Cosmo in his first ever Funko Pop and Nebula in the official Guardians uniform.  Sure I could have grabbed an earlier version, like the Avengers Endgame time suit, but I wanted someone in this uniform.

I have not had my light box set up since I moved my home office into my daughter’s old bedroom.  This was the perfect opportunity and excitement level to set it back up.  Enjoy.

Here is a full group shot, complete with Thor and Captain Marvel.  Sure Carol was not actually a member in any of the movies, but considering she flies through the galaxy I feel she fits in here.  Captain Marvel did bring Iron Man and Nebula back to Earth in Avengers Endgame and I am fairly sure she has been a member in the comics.

Oh you say, Mantis is missing?  Yes she is.  I am hoping to pick up the version of Mantis is her green outfit which is exclusive to Target.  I tried, but the local Target did not have any of the Volume 3 assortment out.
