Xbox One launch title Ryse: Son of Rome has introduced three new achievements, each of which is themed around the "Ides of March," known in history as the date Julius Caesar was assassinated. Two are available in the game's multiplayer mode, while the third is a campaign-based challenge. Below is a breakdown of the three new achievements. "Beware the Ides of March" (100 gamerscore) -- Players must complete fifteen multiplayer executions in a single match. "Lunacy in March" (100 gamerscore) -- Simply play seven matches on the Barbarous map to earn the achievement. "Et Tu, Brute" (50 gamerscore) -- Save the Emperor in the first chapter and then kill him in chapter eight, all in one consecutive playthrough. Ryse was released in November 2013 as an Xbox One launch title. In his 4/10 review, GameSpot reviewer Mark Walton praised the game's gorgeous visuals, but lamented the combat for being shallow and repetitive. The game has since been released for PC. Developer Crytek owns the rights to the Ryse franchise and is currently considering working on a sequel for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, though no such project has been officially announced.
