Head of Xbox Phil Spencer yesterday posted an image of Xbox One's greatly anticipated screenshot feature.

"Nice to finally be doing this on my Xbox One dev kit," Spencer said on his verified Twitter account with the attached image above, and explained that its UI and activation are still in the console's debug testing mode.

Spencer added that the feature is one of the most requested on feedback.xbox.com, where users can make suggestions to Microsoft. As with all of Xbox One's significant updates, Microsoft will introduce the feature properly when it's ready, which Spencer said will be "soon."

Back in May 2014, Spencer revealed that the ability to take screenshots on Xbox One was one of the features Microsoft engineers were working to deliver through a future update. One of the reasons why we haven't seen this feature yet is because it turned out to be "a little more technically challenging" than Spencer first imagined.
