A Pinhead NFT, specifically the in-game Dead By Daylight model of the iconic Cenobite, is now available to purchase. Feelings are mixed, of course, since NFTs currently exist in the weird area of scams and actually interesting ideas of decentralized tech.

NFTs stand for non-fungible tokens. By using blockchain tech that generates these one-of-a-kind tokens, people can purchase and "own '' digital items. However, the definition of ownership is pretty nebulous here: NFT owners just get to say they own the original of some digital item, but can't prevent anybody from right-clicking and downloading the thing from the internet.

So what does it mean if you decide to purchase this Pinhead NFT specifically? You do get access to the Hellraiser chapter of Dead by Daylight on PC. But, according to the FAQ, no Dead By Daylight content will be locked behind the purchase.
